Word of the Day
Unsecured
Loans that are given without a collateral are called unsecured loans
If the borrower is unable to pay back, the lender cannot recover the dues easily.
This makes the loan/debt more unsafe in nature.
This is opposed to secure loans where the borrower gives a collateral.
In case the person is unable to pay back, the lender can recover the dues by selling off the collateral.
6 Day Course

There are many different kinds of expenditures.
These categorisations would depend largely on the industry a company belongs to.
Oil, gas, and mining companies use exex — exploration expenditure. This is money spent looking for new reserves.
They also have devex — development expenditure. This is money spent developing a newly discovered resource.
Repex — or replacement expenditure. Telecom companies and utilities companies have this expense.
Adex is advertising expenditure. Manex — management expenditure.
All of these expenditures are still classified mostly under opex or capex depending how the company thinks it is appropriate.
